Summer at RMDT encompasses many rewarding experiences in which dancers of all ages continue their study of dance. RMDT offers several different dance intensive camps for all levels. Intensives provide a concentrated time to study and perfect technique, and to learn about other aspects of dance such as dance history, terminology, and current affairs. Intensives also give those dancers who plan to attend outside dance camps or New York Experience the chance to ready themselves. Summer provides the occasion to study with master teachers as well. In the past RMDT summer has included such names as Bonnie Story, Cherie Noble, and Kathryn Kramer. This experience is extremely unique for our rural area. Dancers and Master Teachers alike leave the experience inspired. RMDT also includes participating in some of the community events such as the annual 4th of July Parade and County Fair. RMDT showcases their talents through these fun events and works to be part of the community through their continued participation.
